Well said - I loved the "personal" stories because these are the workhorses, and more needs to be said about them. More importantly, the focus needs to be on them. Trump and his homage to the fallen firefighter is magnificent - that's why we (workhorses) love him so much. He may not be able to recognize us individually, but he knows we're there, and he reaches and talks to who we are. Just like J. D. Vance and his "culture in crisis," shipping all those "workhorse" jobs overseas made us weak and dependent on others, while it attacked a whole class of our society that is moral, decent, has common sense, and grounded in reality. When you take that class away, you have the entitles and slaves - neither one is particularly beholding to anything that will elevate them to a higher calling.
