We, the People, have placed our faith and our lives in a false god, an idol, a replacement for the One Who rules. Instead, we have become a people who think that legislation and favoritism will win the day, especially for us, and especially if we contribute and have access to the corridors of power. In other words, corporate America and lobbying of Congress will get us what we want. And, even beyond that, if we VOTE for the lesser of two evils, at least we will have satisfaction in knowing that our voice has been heard.
Meanwhile, society becomes more and more evil.

The fact of the matter is that One, Jesus Christ, has already come to save you and your salvation depends on how well you adhere to His code of conduct, that is, love your neighbor as you do yourself. The fact is that we prefer to live by our own code--Do to your neighbor before he does to you.
How much are we going to lose before we admit our own failings? How far will we fall before we realize that we don't have all the answers? How certain will we become that our own creation is superior before we realize that we know nothing at all?
