I've read of so many soldiers being found dead these last 3.5 years. No reason is ever given. I know that Obama did get rid of the best of the best. I've seen Vallely's list and I understand there are even more.
There needs to be justice. Hard to believe that the two you discussed were obviously in the military for quite some time - either turned bad or were never capable. What happened in Afghanistan was planned at the highest levels. It was not a military operation going. Getting many out was certainly a civilian operation hampered by State at every turn.
I knew several AF generals during my 25 year career in civil service. The first I read of Austin involved emails to another party while he was in Iraq. Apparently, he had to give the other party a portion of the $2 million he was trying to smuggle out. He’s lived up to that first impression and although several years ago now, have never forgotten that.
Promoting incompetence is truly a threat to the country and most certainly to the fighters. Kinda seems like another strain of treason. Overall, however, Obama didn’t completely fulfill his charge to render the military completely ineffective….but he’s gotten pretty close in Biden’s administration.
Thank you for explaining exactly why these generals need to be investigated and face court martial if the evidence warrants; very likely it might.
