As I read, and then re-read what you shared, I find myself thinking of what the Psalmist wrote about in Psalm 2. A couple of his questions/thoughts are mine as well: "Why are the nations in an uproar? And why do people (or, leaders) plot to do empty and worthless things? ... He Who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak in His anger and terrify them in His fury ... Do homage to the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way."
I cannot help but think two things in response to what Ukranian leaders are doing, and what a Holy God thinks of them: God is Just; He will not allow leaders who do evil (morally worthless and empty things) to go without experiencing Divine justice and, God is Good; He must not allow these 'leaders' to go unpunished, for if He does then He is no longer a good God.
God have mercy on the leaders who plot to do these evils, and may God take divine pity on the victims of their evil.
