Excellent blog. DC is broken. Our state governments are also broken. The ONLY one that can restore this country is God, but why should He? We have turned away from Him, we have removed Him from our government buildings, our schools, our places of employment. We have mocked and scorned Him, we have ridiculed His Word. Is there hope? Yes.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

If our Heavenly Father decides to have mercy on this broken nation, then He will expect the ekklesia, His church, to fix what we have ultimately destroyed. Yes, WE THE PEOPLE, destroyed this nation through apathy, ignorance and complacency. So WE THE PEOPLE need be prepared and willing to replace this de facto system with a truly de jure and LAWFUL system of self-governance.

Our 1st amendment secures our right to peacefully assemble and petition the government for a redress of grievances. So let's do just that! County by county.

1 Samuel 8 lays out in excruciating detail what happens when people demand a human government over God's system of self-control. Human nature being what it is, we never learn and so are going to repeat the lessons of history which so many others before us have experienced. There is no escaping it. Actions have consequences and our actions span back centuries.

Natalie Scholl has it right. We, the People, have done this. It is easy to blame the government, but government is only a reflection of the people of any given society. Ours is a nation of greed, larceny, and murder, et al, in addition to the ones she listed--apathy, ignorance, and complacency. I agree that we need to replace the system with one of self-governance, that being under God's rule and accountable to him and each other.

Hoping that things will get better and tinkering around the edges to achieve some small measure of reform is akin to whistling past the graveyard. America is going down and it cannot be restored to its former status. The entire system, which relies on government "securing" our "rights" must be scrapped in favor of something better.

Let me be honest here. Governments do not secure nor guarantee anyone's rights, freedoms, and liberties. They only violate them. Those who put their faith in a political system to "save" the society will always be disappointed because, over time, every government which is based on force (implicitly or explicitly violent) will turn on its own citizens in some way or another.

Why should God restore America? No good reason and, if I know anything about the way God works, it will not happen.

"And you will cry out in that day because of the king you have chosen for yourselves, and the LORD will not hear you in that day." -- 1 Samuel 8:18

I have faith that God is reaching His people who must also reject the heresy within our organized religions. I also acknowledge the decades of planned propaganda against the free peoples of the world...and Satan’s role in it. The greatest threat to the global elites is people who clearly understand and acknowledge that man is not the supreme power as the Marxists/communists/fascists have pushed for decades; we the world’s free people clearly know God reins above all others. 🙏. Satan knows his time is finite, too.

We truly must return our nation to the principles of the faith it was founded upon. God, who gave us our Savior, must once again be acknowledged as our creator and Lord, both as individuals and as a nation. We must repent and ‘gird up our loins’ to do His will both locally, regionally and nationally. We must excel in our actions to make our votes count again, to overcome (with God’s help) the evil we fight. Thank you for the reminder and God bless your faith and your courage.🙏

Yes, absolutely, vote for the lesser of two evils to overcome the evil which besets us.

Yes, it’s difficult to see anything change…..only with God’s will. Time will tell.
