Continuity of Government
“The Continuity of America’s Federal Government is dangerous to liberty.” (Author)

Having served in the military for twenty-eight years, I had the pleasure of a broad array of assignments and experiences, including in Washington, D.C., where I worked in areas like Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) and as part of a response force for the U.S. Capital region. I learned a lot about how many functions of government work, and the plans built to support Continuity of Government (CoG) operations. Maintaining government operations in a crisis was considered important for America, and I agreed at the time.
That was then, this is now.
This federal government is America's greatest threat to liberty, not a natural disaster or foreign invasion.
‘Continuity of Government’ is defined as a coordinated effort within the executive, legislative, or judicial branches to ensure that essential functions continue to be performed before, during, and after an emergency or threat. Continuity of government is intended to preserve the statutory and constitutional authority of elected officials at all levels of government across the United States.
I no longer view this unconstitutional government’s continuity as necessary to defend liberty. I am only interested in the continuity of American liberty, best preserved by We the People and not government bureaucrats whose first instinct is always self-preservation. If I had to choose between ensuring the safety of a U.S. Senator, and a farmer – the farmer wins a landslide. President Biden or a long-haul trucker? The trucker wins, and it is not even close.
As the 2024 election draws closer, there are multiple indicators that people in Washington, D.C. are preparing for what they believe is the worst case. More than likely something they caused or planned in the first place. Issuing satellite phones to Senators “just in case,” is only one example.
Another example was recently provided when a National Guard Aviation unit deployed to Washington D.C. for a yearlong CoG mission. They were told their priority is evacuation support. However, their first training tasks around D.C. were instead focused on the apprehension and transport of detainees. I do not want to read too much into this, but for a lift aviation company to focus on detainee/prisoner transport operations is, at best suspicious and, at worst, a sign of malevolent intentions.
I was the Battalion Commander of thirty Blackhawks and trained for many kinds of operations. I never even trained for detainee handling when preparing for my seven conflict zone deployments. For evacuation operations, it would not make the list either.
It is not my fault for thinking this way. This administration floored the accelerator to get down the road to Marxism quickly. The gap between conspiracy theory to conspiracy fact closed quickly. I am not alone. I collaborate daily with veteran and citizen groups who know our federal government is corrupt. Thus, everything happening in Washington, D.C. should be looked at with skepticism. In the case of the military, they better all become well-versed in what it means to keep their oath to the Constitution and the American people. Illegal orders are illegal for a reason.

What strikes me the hardest is the fact that, at this point in American history, safeguarding the D.C. establishment is at the bottom of the list of actions necessary to preserve our liberty and way of life. In fact, it is arguable that the absence of the federal government for a period would strengthen this country. Protecting industry, agriculture, and education improves America’s ability to thrive in liberty. Imagine our agriculture freed from burdensome and unnecessary regulations, and a transportation industry able to move goods and perform services without a massive bureaucracy weighing them down. Can you imagine education focused on teaching and not brainwashing? There are myriad examples of what could be done despite the government and not because of it.
Today’s federal government is out to destroy liberty and control access to everything that protects, preserves, and magnifies life. Why? They seek to control you, to own you.
Readers can point to necessary government functions and poke holes in this argument. The need for a responsive national defense would be number one on that list. But that would be to miss the point. My concern is not about China invading Montana. It is about the continuous erosion and destruction of liberty across America by domestic enemy number one, our own federal government and the stormtroopers that fill its ranks – that is the greatest risk. I am not an anti-government person either, I am in favor of limited government. One that is still bound by the principles in our Founding documents and recognizes that there is a God to whom we all answer.
The next time you watch a movie where Washington, D.C. is threatened with some existential crisis, ask yourself what is more important, preserving a corrupt government, or your food, water, shelter, and energy sources? The answer is simple:
1. What preserves your life?
2. Who seeks to control your life?
No matter what happens, let us not forget that God is on the throne and will not be removed. Many who today preach the need for “justice” will instead stand in judgment and beg for mercy when it is too late. If you do not know Jesus, seek Him now, and all can be forgiven – it does not matter what you have done. I implore you to walk the path of knowledge and faith that leads to Him. That path is laid out HERE. Other articles you might enjoy are HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
So the Declaration of Independence says that "when our government becomes destructive, it is the right of the people to alter it or abolish it, and it institute a new government that sees to the People's Safety and Happiness." It's our "duty to throw off such governments and provide new guards."
Are We the People doing that? No, mostly people are just complaining and saying what kind of political party we need.... All we need is a republican form of government (Article IV, Section 4 in the Constitution) founded in COMMON LAW which is what our Framers intended. It's time we assemble, county by county. Clay County, Missouri along with other counties in Missouri have formed a General Jural Assemblies. We are educating ourselves and studying what it means to self-govern. So when the current corrupt government falls, which it will, WE THE PEOPLE, are ready to replace it.
This short article is a perfect example of my worldview. We need a political party focused on restoring freedom and individual respect, not a buffoon in the white house who uses the terms “freedom” and “democracy” as buzzwords to placate their constituents. We need a legislature that legislates instead of focusing on individual enrichment (Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, and Barack Obama.
