On June 24, 2022, the United States Supreme Court issued its opinion in the case of Dobbs vs Jackson Women’s “Health” Organization. The case moved the issue of abortion back into the States. Since that time state legislatures have continued to take on the issue, with some states fighting to protect life, and some fighting for the right to destroy it. Regardless of the state’s position, the Declaration of Independence made it clear that no legislative power exists that can deny the innocent the right to life as guaranteed by God, not man:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life…..”
Unalienable means it cannot be removed from an individual by any human being, and with life starting at conception and because a baby has a completely unique set of DNA, a little life has the same unalienable rights.
Still, June has Flag Day and Father’s Day but no other holiday worthy of such national recognition and celebration as would be one celebrating life. Having June as Pro-Life Month means we can remember the tens of millions of lives lost while also celebrating the victories won on behalf of babies across the nation. As a nation we must always protect and defend the lives of the innocent.
Let us recognize June as Pro-Life month, a month to be celebrated nationwide.
On January 22, 1973, Roe v. Wade invented, out of thin air, a right that became the false law of the land. I was born on January 19, 1973 and given the timing, and the fact that I will answer to God for my life on earth, I will do whatever I must to Save the Babies and do what men are supposed to do – be a protector and defender.
